I've been diving into the BBC Microbit to show my granddaughters the ropes of programming and electronics.

The Kitronic accessories are fantastic, really well-crafted, and, importantly, come with great documentation, making assembly and usage a breeze.

These components include extensions for MakeCode, which means we can jump right in without getting bogged down by any tricky stuff, letting the fun begin immediately.

This company is solid, with a broad selection of products. My friends and I often turn to them for sheet plastics; I've made a few purchases myself. The shipping fee for smaller orders is a tad steep, but we manage. They even kept fulfilling orders during the COVID-19 pandemic, all while offering a free design service. They had a good handle on the increased demand for specific plastic sheets they had in stock; can't blame them for putting in the effort and being upfront about it. A buddy of mine pointed me their way by sending a simple link to a product on their well-organized website, saying, 'Check this out (you can pick your color),' and I found it super easy to browse other colors with the same specs.

There's a solid selection of budget-friendly electronic kits, especially for the BBC micro:bit. I gotta say, those zip 'pixel' LEDs are a handy and inexpensive substitute for Adafruit NeoPixel, with some specifically made for the micro:bit. The no-soldering-required :MOVE buggy kit seems like a blast too and would make a lovely gift.

The ordering process was smooth, with good email notifications and speedy delivery. The only thing I noticed missing is a way to either order items that are out of stock or at least get a heads-up on when they might be back in stock or sign up for stock alerts.
